The Peony Shirley Temple shows glamorous, pale blushy white-pinkish flowers. Peonies know a short flowering period, but the flowers grow heavy and large. The rose-shaped Peony has a heart of small, loosely arranged ruffled petals. The Peony Shirley Temple thrives in the full sun or partial shade. Deadhead the flower heads after flowering, around September. Cut back the stems around 2" (5 cm) above the ground. Add organic compost or fertilizers in early spring.
